Payment, deposit and reservation cancellations




How do we have to make the payments of the reservation?


At the moment of making the reservation a deposit of 50% of the total amount must be paid. If after 7 days since the pre-reservation has been made, the deposit has not been received, the dates are directly unblocked.


The rest of the amount will have to be paid on arrival in cash or by credit card or by transfer a few days before.


You will also have to pay the tourist tax. We are in the category of housing for tourist use (HUT), the tourist tax will be 1€ per night and per person over 16 years old. With a maximum of 7 nights.


When will we receive the confirmation of the reservation?


Once we receive the first payment from the client.


In case there is any irregularity in the reservation and it is not accepted by Ca la Cèlia, in case the client has made any payment, the amount paid in advance will be fully refunded.


When do we have to pay the deposit and when is it returned?


A deposit of 300 € is required for all stays and must be paid upon arrival in cash or by bizum.


The deposit is returned within 48 hours after the end of the stay, in order to check the correct state of the accommodation.


If the deposit has been left by credit/debit card it will be returned to the same card, in case it has been left in cash it will be returned via bank transfer to the account number provided.


In case of damages such as leaving the house very dirty, not throwing the garbage away, throwing cigarette butts on the floor of the house or garden, throwing objects into the pool or misusing the pool, letting the dogs on the sofa, using the blankets for the dogs or any misuse of the house that represents additional cleaning hours, Ca la Cèlia reserves the right to retain the relevant amount to cover the cost of the damage caused or the extra cleaning hours.


What happens if we have to cancel a reservation?


The client can cancel free of charge up to 30 days before arrival. The client will pay 50% of the total amount if he/she cancels during the 30 days before arrival and 100% one week before.


The client will pay 50% of the total amount in advance when making the reservation.


Failure to show up at the house or failure to cancel at least 7 days in advance, implies having to pay 100% of the total amount of the reservation.


In case of circumstances beyond the client's control or due to force majeure, the same criteria will be applied as in this section.


In the event that due to COVID's obligatory official mobility restrictions you are unable to get to the accommodation when you have to come, we will keep 100% of the deposit, obtaining a bonus or modifying the dates. Check all the information about cancellations due to COVID.
